ErP of the total installation package!

So what is this ErP, and what’s the package all about?

 

When installing a boiler the U.K. it needs to have a minimum Energy related products (ErP) rating, this is an EU energy efficiency directive, which has been stated in the building regulations.

For example, when fitting a Combi boiler in England, it needs to have a minimum of 92% ErP making it A rated.

The term package is used to refer to an installation when you fit new controls with a new boiler.

Each different type of control can uplift the boilers original ErP by a set amount of percentage.

The aim should be to achieve the highest possible ErP package rating.

It would be amazing if we could get every installation to 98% ErP which is A+.

Example of an A+ package.

Plus by fitting the BeSmart to the Evolve will extend the boiler warranty to 10 years. So overall this is an amazing Boiler and set up. The Evolve can even be fitted outside if used with the ‘Balcony Boiler Enclosure’ this is the only boiler on the U.K. market that is designed to be installed inside and outside. We personally think this is a game changer for landlords, as this means easy access to the boiler for servicing and maintenance. Also the beSmart control can inform the landlord or engineer of problems and performance related data.
