I understand that some of my valued customers may be concerned about the recent safety notice issued by Ideal Heating regarding boilers manufactured between August 2022 and January 7th, 2024. I want to assure you that I am closely monitoring the situation and am here to support you in any way I can.

Here's a summary of the latest information and my recommendations:

The Good News:

• No immediate action needed: Ideal Heating has confirmed that you can continue to use your boiler safely while they roll out the product safety upgrade, starting at the end of February.
• Safety upgrade available: Ideal Heating will be contacting all affected customers directly to arrange a free safety upgradefor your boiler.
• Not all boilers affected: Importantly, boilers manufactured after January 7th, 2024 are not affected by this issue.

Taking Proactive Steps:

• Check if your boiler is affected: You can quickly check if your boiler is within the affected range by visiting the Ideal Heating support website (https://idealheating.com/blog/important-customer-safety-notice) or by calling them directly on their Freephone number: 0808 175 9173.
• Repressurize your boiler: As an additional precaution, Ideal Heating recommends repressurizing your boiler to 1.5 bar. Instructions on how to do this safely are available on the Ideal Heating support website.
